Merry Meet- Circle Rules You are most welcome to come to our open circle gatherings. Here is how you do so. Choose a date that fits your schedule, call us and reserve your space,
All circles begin promptly at 7pm. If you are late you will not be let in, not. No exceptions will be made so do not disrespect out circle by expecting to be an exception to this rule.
No one under 18 may attend without a parent or legal guardian and the child must have supervision throughout the entire ritual. To be very clear you may not drop off your children. If you think you can’t make it once you have signed up, please call so we may give your space to someone else. No call and no show means we won’t let you sign up again,. You may not sign up on the night of the ritual we will not have supplies to accomidate you.
We are limited to 25 spaces in bad weather and we may have to turn some people away. We do not allow cameras as some people are in the broom closet and deserve a safe place to worship. Cell phones must be set on vibrate during circle so only you are disturbed. Even then you may not answer them once circle has begun, if it’s an ER see the dragon.
Circles can go as late as 10pm. There is no dress code, some wear robes some don’t, but no sky clads please. :) |

"Make Magic Work" *
Magic is not cookery! From the basic to advanced, spells and magic need
more than a list of complicated ingredients and the right oven
temperature. You can't take your Altar to school, work, the car park; so
how do you work magic on the hoof? A fresh look of the elements that are
needed to make Rites and Rituals meaningful and spell-working accurate and
effective.
"Circle Work" "Putting on a Ritual" (aka "Writing the Rite Right")
Learn to create the Sacred Space, including invoke the elements, cast the
Circle etc. Book Rituals need learning and can be difficult to adapt for the people
you actually have in mind. Home-made is far better. How to make your
Rituals powerful and meaningful and still minimise the stress of organization.
Kate is well qualified to teach this class, she has been running Covens since the early 90's and is High Priestess of the Hearth of Hecate group of Covens which has daughter groups in many towns across England.

Brief Bio:
Kate was born in 1957 in Kent, the garden county of England. She grew up
in a household where faith was a frequent topic of discussion, her eldest
brother being a (now retired) Catholic priest. Today she lives, as a
single parent, deep within the beautiful Norfolk countryside with her 10yr
old son Taliesin and several cats.
Kate first became attracted to Witchcraft in her teens, having an inbuilt
affinity to, and love of, the cycles of the Moon and the seasons. After
working for many years she finally reached a place in her life compatible
with being open about the Craft. This was when she first started writing
and became an active, and open, member of the Pagan Federation. This lead
to her being very active in the promotion, and defence of, pagan beliefs,
which in turn lead to a very high profile in the British media. After the
birth of her son in 1997 Kate began to focus her efforts in support of her
preferred path, that of a Witch, and joined the Children of Artemis, the
UK's foremost Witchcraft and Wicca organisation. She continued her media
work on their behalf until the time commitment became problematic to her son's education and wellbeing. She has appeared in a number of UK
mainstream TV programmes. She has been interviewed by almost every
regional BBC radio station and several national ones, and has appeared in
a number of regional and national publications as well as magazines
varying from general interest to computing specials! Kate is a popular
speaker, addressing audiences of up to 1, 200 at the Witchfest annually.
